Dental Implants
True teeth in a day tooth replacements
Dental implants are titanium "screw shaped posts" that are surgically placed in the jawbone under your gums. During a healing period, the bone grows around the implant (osseointegration). After the healing phase, a replacement tooth (crown) is attached to the implant, providing you with a restoration that is a like your natural tooth. In all cases when placing Dental Implants, we aim to provide a temporary crown for implant on the same day or within a few days after the implant has been inserted.
Dental Implants can also be used to construct bridges and secure dentures when more than one tooth is missing. Today, Dental Implants is the first choice treatment in many cases when dealing with teeth replacement due to its aesthetic appeal and high success rate. The most common questions about Dental Implants are answered in our FAQ and treatments explained further in the videos below.
Dental Implant vs Bridge Video
This video explains the advantages of placing a single Dental Implant instead of reducing the adjacent teeth to fix the bridge, as well as possible bone loss.
Single Implant – Immediate Loading
This video explains a scenario where one tooth is removed, a single Dental Implant is placed and a temporary crown is fitted during the same session.
Single Implant – Delayed Loading
This video explains a scenario where a single Dental Implant is placed and where a healing phase is required before a crown may be fitted. The healing phase is usually required when other procedures are required or when the candidate's bone volume is insufficient.
